While watching a YouTube video you can click the on the ‘M’ key to mute the audio. So, if you quickly wanted to mute the audio in a situation where it is difficult to reach out for the volume knob, you can just press the ‘M’ key. You can also un-mute by pressing the same key once again.
4. The K Key
Do you know if you press ‘k’ key on your keyboard while watching a YouTube video, you will end up pausing? Pressing it again will resume the video. And I know you can do it by pressing the space bar instead. But I think it’s more useful if you are a person, who likes to rest their fingers on the top of the keyboard while watching. Try it and I’m sure you will feel more comfortable.
5. 0 to 9 Number Keys
While watching any video, you can just press any of the number keys from 0 to 9 to skip parts of the video. For example, if you press ‘3’, you’ll skip 30% of the video from the beginning. Similarly, if you press 4, you will skip 40%. Pressing 0 will get you back to the beginning. While pressing 9 will get you to the ending of the video.
