This tip will help you to speed up internet and increase download speed on Windows 10. In this step, we will open the Command Prompt and apply a little trick there. Just go to the Start menu and type CMD.
Now right-click on the result and choose ‘Run as Administrator’. You will see a black Command Prompt window, which is exactly what we are looking for. Type in “ipconfig/all” into the CMD and press Enter.
Now it will show you some details as shown in the picture. Look for the IPv4 address. Copy the IPv4 address and close the command prompt window.
Now, right-click on the Start menu and select Run. Type in “ping < and paste the IPv4 address that you just copied from the Command Prompt. Now type > -t, and click Ok. For example. In my case, I have typed ping <192.168.0.1> -t.

Tip #2. Get a Better DNS

Tip #3. Optimize Internet Download Manager Settings
If speeding up your internet doesn’t work, you may have to work on your download manager. Before we begin, you need to download the most famous download manager, which is called Internet Download Manager. I hope you don’t need to download IDM as you already have it installed on your PC or laptop.
Once you install the IDM Manager, open it, and from its menu, go to the Downloads > Options. From here, navigate to the Connection tab and look for the option Connection type or speed.
Click on it and choose the High-Speed Direct Connection option. Now go to the Max Connection Number and choose 32, which is the highest number you can get here.
