3. The M Key

While watching a YouTube video you can click on the ‘M’ key to mute the audio. So, if you quickly wanted to mute the audio in a situation where it is difficult to reach out for the volume knob, you can just press the ‘M’ key. You can also un-mute by pressing the same key once again.

4. The K Key

Do you know if you press the ‘K’ key on your keyboard while watching a YouTube video, you will end up pausing it? Pressing it again will resume the video.

The space bar is another common YouTube shortcut most people use to pause that is playing. But it’s more useful if you are a person who likes to rest their fingers on the top of the keyboard while watching. Try it, and I’m sure you will feel more comfortable.

5. 0 to 9 Number Keys

0 to 9 number keys are also YouTube keyboard shortcuts you can use. While watching any video, you can just press any of the number keys from 0 to 9 to skip parts of the video. For example, if you press ‘3’, you’ll skip 30% of the video from the beginning. Similarly, if you press 4, you will skip 40%. Pressing 0 will get you back to the beginning. While pressing 9 will get you to the ending of the video.
